We have created an event for it, but just in case there are those of you who need to know nitty gritty details about our prayer walk on Saturday, here's the basic 411: - Meet Saturday morning in the sanctuary at 9:30 - Spend a half hour in the sanctuary receiving basic training/tips on engaging with others on the prayer walk, how to pray for people, how to begin conversations, etc. - Walk around the neighborhood and pray until 11am - Meet back in the sanctuary at 11:15am for debrief and discussion - If you can't walk around outside for the hour, the sanctuary will be open and an elder will be there helping to guide through praying for those walking and for the neighborhood Any questions please contact either Summer or Matt or Samantha in advance of Saturday!
We had a fantastic time today at Family Game Day. Sitting at tables and playing games, kids jumping in and out of the ball tub, conversations happening left and right: a great time of fellowship and connection!

We had an amazing service a couple weeks ago with our Youth Sunday, being led by a variety of teens for our whole service. We also finished our time together by praying for one of our families in this time of transition and deployment. What an exciting time to be a part of First MC!
We are taking a walk in the past with some of the songs we are singing this morning, and we are excited that our youth will be leading us in song, sermon and prayer! We hope you’ll join us at 10:30!
We desire to be a praying church, and over the last few months we have been praying about our future as individuals and as a church. A month ago all Sunday school classes gathered together to pray for FMC and discuss where God is leading us next. Will you pray for us as well?

We had a blast on Saturday at the Egg Hunt. 40-50 kids came out and searched for over 3000 eggs at spots all around the church. We were blessed by an engaging and fun gospel presentation involving illusions and games catered specifically to get kids laughing and learning, both of which they did enthusiastically! Some great connections were made with neighbors and families in our area. Check out some of the pictures below!
A reminder: pray for those who call these churches home in the midst of some very serious fires. One a very significant, historical church and a gravely sad time in the midst of Holy Week for a church that has deep meaning in the Christian faith. The other three, the buildings and their congregations are victims of a hate crime designed to induce fear and produce instability. We had a chance yesterday to hear a great message for the children from Matt Derby, who managed to give a demonstration involving putting pencils through a bag full of water and not get the volunteer wet! A great Sunday hearing about the importance of loving others well and looking out for those who have no one to help them, even protecting children!
